Edye
Baca Allen is a native New Mexican who worked as a professional dancer
and choreographer in the Los Angeles area for fifteen years. She has
danced in music videos, television award shows and major motion
pictures. In addition, she has worked with top recording artist Janet
Jackson and country western recording group Alabama. Her talents have
led her to work with Elizabeth Taylor, Steve Martin, and Jessica Lange.
Edye currently lives in Albuquerque with her prominent devotion going
towards the continued development of her dance company, Exposé.
Edye
Allen’s Exposé Dance Company was formed in February of 1992. The
dancers are chosen by a series of auditions that are periodically held
throughout the year. After becoming a member, the company dancers
encounter rigorous workouts of technical training, performing skills,
partnering and other dance related endeavors. This non-profit
organization works together as an ensemble, learning the basic
fundamentals of discipline and team workmanship while portraying
positive role models for the youth of our community.
